1) Andy made for the 8 times World Professional Billiards Champion Mike Russell, you should ask Mike who he thinks is the best Cue Maker in the World.
2) I offered you some standard Andy Bream two piece hand made cues, they will sell very well and go up in value, also very good to compare them to the best cues Parris sells, we have a Parris Ultimate here which had the joint come lose, the cue warped badley and the timber 1" from the tip split so much for a cue worth over 750 pounds.
3) The problem is waiting time with Andy he can only make about 6 cues a week, and he waits until the timber has settled before he finishes the cue, so from order to finish is about 4 months, Andy charges about AUD 650.00 for a standard 3/4 joint like the one Ben Judge uses, more exotic splicings will cost more.
4) Andy is 37 he does not care much for stamping cues, Andy is a one man operation, we tried to expand his operation about a year ago but he does not like any preassure or have to work to a deadline, he makes enough money to live as comfortable as he wants and he does not want to get any bigger, regards quality I have to say that Andy is better then John Parris, he repairs alot of John Parris cues when they warp or the joints come loose which a lot of Parris cues do, you can ask Parris how many Andy Bream cues he has repaired, to give you another example the Australian under 18 Champion Ben Judge played with a Paris cue which cost over 700 pounds, Andy had to repair the cue several times, until Ben finally decied to have Andy make him a brand new cue, which he now plays with, about 6 months ago when Ben played the Pontins Tournament inEngland where he won against Steve Davis, he also went to see John Parris and showed him the cue Andy made for him, John offered to make him a replacement of the cue he sold him free of charge, Ben has since sold his Parris cue and is playing beautifully with his Andy Bream cue.
