My friend bought a JP master in Australia for about HKD$2400 (bit more expensive here), but I think it is not a bad cue. Certainly the one he is using is far better than a lot of other Parris cue (higher model) I have seen.
However, my friend seems not too happy with his cue mainly because it is a machine splice and so call the cheapest Parris cue. Psychology does plays a big part in snooker as well as cue, so I think it is important to get something you really like (including its looks, quality, craftmanship or even the brand) and stick with it.
Having say so, I still believe whether a cue is good or not is not neccessary related to its price or brand. If you can make yourself believe what you are using is the best possible cue on earth you can get, then you will be more likely to turn the cue into an extension of your arm when you play snooker. |
