Finally, I've got the answer for missing my black. I got this advise from one of my good friend -
Synchonizing body and mind was the key. See, our body can not go to the past or the future unless we have a time machine. Our body always stay in the present. However, we can send our mind into the past and future. In fact, our mind spend most of its time into the past and future, thinking about what happened before and wondering - or worrying - what's going to happen next. But the mind can be in the present as well. Therefore, the only way our body and mind can be sychronized is if our mind is in the present. Further, although our mind may be in the present, it need to be at the same place as our body - Facing the shot with your mind and body in real time it is. Thank you for sharing your opinions with me.

This really consolidates my recent belief of snooker as a mental game.

Yes, snooker as is in many other sports is a game of mentality. It is a game of memory as well. Let talk about three facets: Conscious Mind, Spontaneous Mind and Judging Mind.

Conscious Mind - this is to learn new information, analyzes and calculates it. It calculates risk versus reward. It makes decisions and plans. It also thinks about what is happening in our body and our thoughts. Conscious Mind learn and process new information. Conscious Mind thinks about our experience. So,if we use Conscious Mind for our strokes (thinking about how to execute a stroke by controling our body movement), it will give us poor to terrible results. Consious Mind does a good job in planning, but it does terrible when we use it to execute the task.

Spontaneous Mind - this is a kind of knowing without thinking or analyzing. Imagine how difficult life would be if we had to think about everymonent we make.Spontaneous Mind is the basis of habits. Once we've learned a sequence of movements through repetition, we don't need to direct each step consciously. for example; we do not consiously think on how to use our chopstick to pick up our food. In snooker, we want to use Spontaneous Mind to do the execution for us.

Judging Mind - this evaluates, judges and gives descriptions in terms of good and bad. It judges the result and gives positive or negative feedback to our Couscious Mind. Judging Mind could be our worst enemy if we do not know how to handle it right. This is like having a little devil in your mind telling your Consiously Mind how you missed your last shot. Consiously Mind will try to correct it and take control of your body and not trusting the Spontanious Mind to do its job.

1) Learn, Plan and Decide with our Conscious Mind.
2) Execute with our Spontaneous Mind.
3) Deal with our Judging Mind.
