No absolutely pros & cons.
All depends how your posture will keep you more balance, stable when cueing. (Of course still need to align the aim point, cue, elbow, grip...)

One point need to mention, the standard posture is most likely fit to those 6ft (average) tall player. If for Asian, need to adjust our own posture to meet the cueing & aiming.

I'm boxer stance player.
