Have you guys have the experiences for shopping online?
I have just ordered a snooker cue from an online store (located at England)
and I have made my payment by using the www.protx.com and the transcation was successfully went
through. However, once I contacted the store again to confirm the ordered and asking him to ship it
to my company's address. The store was asking me to give out the "confirmation of credit card details"
And I was very uncoformtable to give out those information though e-mail
Here is the form that attached in the e-mail:

Sorry if this seems too much but it’s the simplest way to verify all details!

Question:
What they need my credit card info again when I already paid though the protx? Is that normal?
For my knowledge, I don't think they need those credit card information and the internet transaction company (protx) should be the only party that know my credit card information. Any Ideas??

I have ordered cues from England by using credit cards on two occasions and there was no need to give out any particulars of my credit cards.
I have also ordered from Mike Wooldridge on one occasion for his super tips and I was not asked to give any further information after I paid with my credit card. I don't know whether it had anything to do with the small amount of transaction.
You may write to them and explain your uncomfortableness. |

i had bought cues from England of Mike Wooldridge !!
in fact , u can go to Mike's web site , then click to cue gallery , after that u can see have 17 cues>the name is individual cue pictures (CG01-CG17)! these 17 CUES is(( made by Mike only !))!!! My uncle is live in england nearly him, so my uncle know that individual cue pictures (CG01-CG17) is made by Mike one people only!!!
My uncle help me to buy one cue with Mike before , my cues is Mike's individual cue pictures ( CG07 ) , is exactly the CG07 that one cue !!
many people had saw my cue , eg: JP, Eat God , 水哥 also said that cue is very very good!! So you can buy mike's cue!!!!!!
you can ask ask MIke to buy his individual cue pictures (CG01-CG17)! these 17 CUES is(( made by Mike only !))!!!
But these (CG01-CG17) 17 cues is individual of MIke , Mike is made for himself to use! !!!!!!!!!
i don't know he will or will not sell to you the origional 17 individual cues, maybe he will make a new one to you !! but if he make a new one to you , that's mean it's not the same cue with his individual cue pictures (CG01-CG17) cues!!!! i think buy his origional 17 individual cues (CG01-CG17) is better lo !! ( i mean these 17 origional cues is better than he make a new one same color to you )
It is because these (CG01-CG17) 17 cues is Mike's individual cue, Mike is made for himself to use! !!!!!!!!!and is made by mike one people only!
My cue is (CG07), is the origional cue !! It's mean Mike's cue gallery , individual cue pictures (CG07 is my cue picture )!!i can buy the origional one is beacuse My uncle help me to buy , my uncle is live nearly him , friend with him !!!!
i think if mike make a new one to you ,although th color is the same , BUT the wood should be not the same is the main point!!!!!
These 17 ASH wood is the best !!!

the one on the website, but he always used another e-mail to reply
me handmadecues@gmail.com....
I just have little suspect he is Mike or not

I cannot use someone's ID which is not matching with the name on the credit card, right?
You do not see any detail from protx, but you should know my name and address
as well as the order confirmation number. Now , I send you my ID and it should match
with the name you find out from Protx. For you concerns, the payment will still go through
if the numbers are entered correctly, so what is the point I give you those credit card information
again? I can still give you the same information that I entered in the system even though the card
is not belong to me, right?
I can see your concern and difficulties, but just want to let you know I have to protect my private information too.
PS: if filling out the form is the only way for this transaction to go through, I can do you a favor.
I can give you those information and I will close my credit card account as well to protect myself.
Otherwise, I would like to cancel this order and get full refund.

i need proof of credit card address cos international credit card transactions are not checked for addresses. it's possible you are using someone else's card and sending the goods to any address you choose.

only a few people have asked why, but when i explain it is just for me to verify facts, there isn't a problem.
i hope this is clear to you now. i have to protect myself against fraud.
this actually happened to me once before so i hope you can appreciate why i have to be careful....
i can send you a copy of my picture ID. Is this work? I think that is the best I can do for you.
I don't think you can prove i am the card holder even though I fill out the form for you.
According to Protx, my credit card informations are only decrypted by Protx and are never viewed or retained by the online store.

cos international credit card payments are not checked the same as uk payments.
subsequently, i have no proof that you are whthe genuine card holder.
of course the card passed through the system but it is possible you are using someone else's card. i don't think that is the case but you never know...
if it's not your card, the real person would demand their money back in a month or so when they see their statement.
this is for my protection. it proves you are genuine.
hope you understand my position. i know it's inconvenient and it's something i would like to sort out for the future cos i send to a lot of countries.
but at the moment, everyone has to send me this so i can keep it on record in the event of any problem.
I already paid through the protx.com ...
