recently i bought a new cue (cheap one, from china), and i found the tip is so hard and not smooth and round enough , when i try to make back spin, it always truns to a jump shot.

but if i try to use the same force and position using a cue from the snooker house, i can make the back spin?

so what should i do, it is correct to use sand paper to make the tip round and smooth?

I got the same problem when I brought my Master cue. The new "hard" tip went off easily after several games. Then I went back to the dealer and they replace another tip for me. They added that the original tip should be changed before playing.
You may do the same - just change the tip la...

actually i can do the same cue technique using the street cue,
is it ok to use sand paper to make it smooth without changing the tip?

?

用沙紙(省)tip,目的係想無咁滑,容易起side!

Sure, they will.
I usually change the tip by myself, it is not too difficult.
