Hi,
Have you ever changed from 3/4 cue to 1 piece cue? do you feel its more powerful and easier to get good touch using 1piece?
I am considering to change to one piece as it seems to be more powerful, i am not sure if it is psychological, or it is true, can anyone share some experience before i buy?

Master M7->Glover->friend made 1pc->JP Pro
um...but i still think 3/4 is better...some of my fd just use 1pc,
but i don't like it...
but i suggust u buy 3/4,it is easy to carry... |

Very good question. I am considering a 1-piece cue too.
A friend says that the problem of 3/4 cue is about the joint. The joint may affect the power transfer from the back to the front. Look forward to more inputs from other professionals. Many thanks in advance.

1/2，1 piece 同埋 3/4 我都用过，自己觉得打1 piece 既感觉真系好好多，唔单止力度的问题。 特别系要打一D要发力及难度较高的波的时候，3/4 既cue 会比较难做到（如果系我就直头做唔到啦，高手就可以）。因为始终3/4系有金属接口， 传送能量及接触的感觉会打左折扣，支cue打长时间个metal-join都会出问题。
不过用1 piece最大问题系如上面既师兄所讲，携带唔方便，三个人坐taxi都差D入唔到。 如果只系一两间的球室打波就无大问题，但系如果好似我自己成日带过关返大陆打就好烦恼啦，所以最终我都打返3/4，仲支连长extendion都要放弃。
以上系小弟既愚见，请各位师兄指点。 |

1 pcs
優點:結構完整,不用擔心joint位有問題，尤其在換tip時更不用擔心個joint，壽命相對較長!!
缺點:不便
3/4pcs
優點：易於擕帶
缺點:是以上1 pcs 既優點
明顯地，one pcs優點多過3/4pcs很多，理論上，應該選one pcs的，但又提一提你，一個重要指標，在職業賽上，我眼見球手用既cues應該係3/4較多，我無統計，但至少都係一半/一半，既然one pcs優點咁，職業手都用3/4，理由得兩過，
１．他們要周圍去打比賽，迫不得意下，用3/4
２．其實1pcs 同 3/4沒有分別
我個人認為，基本分別不大，可能我沒人高手既細膩手感吧!
我建議你買之前想一想一個問題，支cue係長期放在一間波樓呀還是要拿住支cue周圍去打呢?

I also noticed that Ronnie O sullivan has changed from 3/4 cue to 1pc, lets see how he gets on this season.
