you see, snooker club don't change the cue ball often unless it is heavily damaged. would that explain your question?

So is it common for players (causal players like us) to bring our own cue ball to play snooker?
Although I have never seen any of my friends doing so, how's about other snooker fans and players? Do you know?

you can bring your own white..........but again, your white might be a bit heavier, and bigger compare with the rest of the balls, which is pointless.
I think another reason why the white ball is lighter is, it is easier to screw back and control........and a more enthusiastic player will not be happy with that as this affect the cue action

i have never seen any player bringing their own cue ball to a club so far. even a player with a full set of equipment like cue, extentsion, chalk, 6" cue-butt, would not bring a cue ball.

我見過！
其實唔只見過，直情對賽過，佢要求換佢自己隻白波，我當然無問題，又唔係裝o左遙控，由得佢囉！
而我自己，亦曾經帶成套波去波樓打添，因為有D波樓D波o既質數係差少少，就好似尖東青年，有D波直頭好似月球表面咁！
