每根材料因天然生成其硬度、韌性及紋都有所不同。Maple手感光滑，但硬度高性能相對穩定。Ash一般紋理清晰而側紋直及山紋均勻的較受用家歡迎。但材質優劣主要與其種植環境及氣候有關，後期加工及處理只是令其更加耐用和易於保存，而單靠紋理則不能作為根本依據。


自己就比較鍾意Ash因不鍾意打硬木(maple)

hi kim i tc i play snooker over 10 yr now i change maple but use ash before, i like ash is better feeling but maple has good handling & powerful than ash but every cue has different character you can try
what would you like !
