I just check the 球例補習班 about jump ball (thx for it first as i only know 70% of those rules after playing for 18 years!).
About case 3 of JUMP BALL, you aim at red ball number1 but it ends up jumping ball hitting red ball number2. What you guys say there is foul.
I downloaded a clip on the net. The program is about O'Sullivan introducing other players' 147. At the end of the program, there is some funny shots. A player who's nick name is "Fat Bill" played a shot jumping over red ball 1 hitting red ball 2, red ball 2 sank into the pocket. No foul was called.
I don't mean to challenge any one. Can anyone clarify if such situation is foul or not? (^_^")

No, it was a match between joe johnson and bill. It looks like it is some formal competition.

I thought there is no new rules set in these days. Maybe that explains.
Ok, another case just happened to me, see if you guys can help me out:
My friend just played a shot few days ago. He pot red but the red jump, it runs along the edge, outside the table area but ON the edge (along the cushion) and sink! I believe it was a foul but he said as long as the ball is running along the green clothing part, even it sinks, it is not a foul. He said it is foul IF the ball is running along the wood part. (I hope you guys know what i say as i cannot type chinese). Anyone can tell me if this is a foul?
