我有個師妹響國泰做緊副機師，成日飛。佢當日係香港考入去o既。
比o的啟示你︰
1) 加拿大移民港人
2) 女校出身，石梨村附近有名o既。七年
3) 入大學同我一樣讀o的唔等駛o既 environmental science
4) 畢業仲未識死，讀埋碩士。研究海洋生態同海草。
5) 全班十幾人，得3個女仔。
一受聘就去o左澳洲受訓十幾個月，當中佢話要上堂又要學抯飛機，出來之後由副機師開始儲經驗值，直至機長就唔知要幾耐。
仲有一樣...我最憎醫生仔...就係因為呢個女仔。食神就聽過我呢個童年陰影... |

國泰之前都有公開請過﹐ 但係都請唔晒。
學歷係非常要 ﹐ 英文就要講得o下兩啦。
但係對o的飛機要有少少認識。。
例如747-400 同 A330﹐A340 o既分別之類o既o野

There are two ways which you can be trained to become a commerical pilot. One is to get a sponsership from airline, which they will train you and all expense paid. Or you go to learn and pay by yourself. Ideally is to get sponser. Cathay Pacific has a cadet pilot scheme, if accepted, you will be train and of course for free. But it is very difficult to get a place, and I've applied before, but wasn't sucessful. Have a look on www.cathaypacific.com, then select career.
If you are rich enought, then you can learn and pay by yourseld. The most basic licence is PPL (Pivate Pilot Licence), which will cost you about HK$50,000 (minimum of 45 hours flying and exams etc). It depends on where you learn and which flying school you choose, and also some people need more time and practice than others, just like driving. I know Australia and US are the cheapest place to learn. |

Then once you qualified for PPL, then additional skills, exams and flying are required, which called ratings. There are serveral types and the msot comment one is a night rating, which allows you to fly at night. If you want to become a commerical pilot, then you need to get all ratings (flying at night, low visibility, instrustmnt flying etc). I am not sure how much extra for ratings. Then once you have ratings, you then need to get a CPL (Commerical Pilot Licence). More money, exams and flying...Then once you qualified, you need to get a licence called 'Frozen ATPL' (Airline Transport Pilot Licence i think), more money, exams and flying again. It is called frozen licence because you need to get further flying experiences in an airline. When you have reach the required hours, then a full ATPL is issued.
As far as I know, the entire course, that is include PPL, ratings, CPL and frozen ATPL can cost around HK$1000000 or more!!! And take about 50 odd weeks.
If you really know that you want to become a pilot, maybe get a PPL, then apply for sponsership is the best way. Or if you are lucky enought, maybe you get sponser at first.
I know Cathay Pacific's requirement is 5 GCSE passes included English and Maths, then 2 A level passes, or a degree. But that's the minimum. Also good command in English and many othere factors!!! |
