Has anyone heard of this brand? And pls could someone tell me whether the peradon pro cue is good or not, and how much is it?. I heard that peradon pro cue is the replica of John Parrot's own cue.

Thanks. Where did you get the cue again? And how much did you pay for it? I'm thinking to get one as one of the online shop is currently doing a special offer: Peradon Pro cue + Cue Craft case + Tele. Extension + some accessories for 220 UK pounds, about 2500 HK dollars. Do you think it is a good deal? |

remember UK$220 pound doesn't include the postal charge, you need to pay around HK$300 more. Besides this, you never know the quality of the cue until you receive it. In HK, you can try/test before you buy it, i think it'll be more safe.

I think cue sold in HK is more expensive than in the UK, and I'm in the UK, therefore I think it is more convience for me to buy in here... I have asked the owner of the site and he said I can get a full refund or a replacement if I don't like the cue, so I think it is quite safe. Anyway, is peradon a famous brand? And what about the Pro cue... |

Congratulations, you have a new cue ! BTW, if you like hard tip, you can replace the original tip with a hard tip, i think the cue will be more powerful. Good luck. |

Thanks...I have tried the cue, and quite like it...it is very straight, the grain looks good and the cue is very smooth too... But I'm not sure how to determine whether it is a good cue or not (Apart from the look). What's the average weight of snooker cues? Mine is 18.5oz...what cue are u using? |

Mine is 19 OZ and my friend's is 18.5 OZ. Both of us had replaced the tip with hard tip. Speed of the ball is faster and harder to control relatively, but the power is much higher, you can decide whether to use hard or soft tip. Regarding your cue, allow me to say No Cue Is Good Cue, the only good cue is the cue you are familiar with, you can control it after used for some time. If your cue is straight and the grain looks ok, then continue to use it, it surely will be your weapon ! Good luck. |

If anybody considering to buy a cue from England, remember to ask them to deduct the VAT (Value Added Tax) - 17.5%. Cuz if you don't use this product in their country, you can get tax-free. |

Did you replace the cue tip by yourself? I heard that snooker club in HK can replace cue tip from customers...are there skill good? And how much does it cost? I found that my screw back and top spin is not very good, is it becuase of the cue, tip or myself? |

We replaced the cue tip at the snooker club that we are usually go to play. I think if you are member of the snooker.com.hk, they will help you to replace it, or only charge you ten to twenty dollars. But the question is you are in England ! next time when you come back to HK la. Regarding screw back and top spin, tip is a problem, skill is another, or both. I suggest you to replace the tip, then try to play it. If it is the same, then seek for an expert to solve it. |

Kenny, I have already registered on snooker.com.hk, does it mean I'm a member? (or I have to join the meeting to become a member?) I heard that there are meeting arranged by snooker.com.hk throughtout the year, do you only play matches in these meeting? I am going back to HK at christmas, how do I join the meeting? The tip I am using is the original tip (haven't change a new one after I brought the cue), maybe it would be better to change to a new tip...let me try later. How long have u been playing snooker? And where do u play? I usually play in Billy (in Hung Hom) as I live in Hung Hom, I think it is a very nice snooker club, very bright and good tables. I have tried to play on the competition table (the one beside the front door), I found it harder to pot balls as the pockets are smaller, but, I really enjoyed it. Anyway, how much did you pay for your pro-cue? And where did u get it from? |

Hi Daniel, I usually play snooker in TsimShaTsui, sometime in Billy. Email me when will you come back to HK so that we can arrange a meeting if possible, ok ? We bought the cues in How Si Ji at HKD1,700. Regarding the meetings held by snooker.com.hk, you can email to them if you like to join their meeting.
Regards.
