From what I saw, the $3000 is almost the cheaper model for John Parris.

I did not find any Mike cue which lower than $4000.

I m using a maple mike, it's real solid and nice balance, very easy on putting side, very different play feeling with Ash.
I never played with JP cue, so I can't help u on that.

Why don't try "Will Hunt" cue? It is good quality also.
I just bought a 1pc Will Hunt....feel so good
