Hi, I am looking for a new cue, my present practice is to hold the cue a few inches away from the butt (my present cue is around 57.5"), so is it mean I should look for a around 57" or even shorter cue so I can hold the bottom of the butt?

it depends on personal perference. My que length is only 54inches

I have 1.73 m ~ 5' 8", is it strongly related. I think my existing form is my bridge is short, I think around 8" only.
