I like placing the cue ball approx. 2"-3" to the right of the brown ball (between the brown and the yellow) I would then use right hand side and hit the 2nd ball from the end of the pack. The chance for cue ball to end up behind the green ball area is pretty high. This will give your opponent a hard time to pot any balls.
I think you and me also misunderstood the question. The author asked for hitting the right side of the black and then open the rest red balls of the pack left. But i also want to know the answer which i posted just now. Thank you.
I do not have much choice on how thick I would like to hit that 2nd ball from the end. It is because that the object ball is 10 feet away, only 3/4 of that ball is visible and I'll be using right hand side.
As long as I hit that ball with right hand side will satify me. I will only mind my speed. My objective is to have the cue ball come back behind the green ball area. Maybe, I'll be lucky enough to cause a snooker to my opponent. Happy snooker ;)
