I thought it's a useful tips for snooker player. Hope somebody could translate in Chinese.
"A professional coach when coaching the cue action and follow-through, would tell you to imagine the cue ball as if it were a 'Bubble' The reason we do this is becuase it is easier to practice the cue action and follow-through, using this continuous smooth action that is required, by imagining the cue going through a bubble. ! A bubble has no resistance, a cue ball has. So if you do not know how to follow-through with the cue, this is the best way to practice it. First put the cue ball on the brown spot, using chalk to make a mark 5 inches behind the brown spot. imagine you push the cue ball to the black spot direction. Get down on the shot and address the cue ball a few times. then take off the cue ball. When start the final back swing, pause, now bring the cue through at a constant speed, not hurriedly, but the same speed that it would take to make the cue ball travel from the baulk line, up the table and back, on a real snooker table. Strike throught the imaginary cue ball as though it were a bubble and carry on with the same constant horizontal smooth cue action, to the follow through mark. Sounds easy, but it is not, and takes a lot of practice. Know mentally that you are striking 'through' the cue ball. When you are in local club playing, don't just play the game, practice it. Make your cue go through the cue ball as if it were a bubble, with one continuous movement."
