Hi any suggestions on custom made cue? John Parris custom made cue (Ultimate) cost about 500 pounds included VAT and take about 14 weeks to complete.
Mike Wooldridge, do they make good custom made cue?
Which is better? Or any other suggestions?

You can Ask them to finish it in 4 weeks.

That`s the way they work ga la but sometimes we`ve to understand it does take time for a cue to be made ........ it`s not like cooking or something which can be done in aday or two . Making a good cue does need the rite type of wood which ALOT of cue company wouldn`t have in stock , Good shaft is hard to get hold of . |

I've finally ordered a custom made cue (Deluxe version) from Mike Wooldridge. 350 pounds included delivery and a 6" mini butt. He said he wopuld work non stop and it should be completed within 2 weeks as I told him I have a tournment to play very soon.
He seems a very nice person. Quick reply, polite, and confident of his cues.
I really look forward to the cue and I will let you guys know whether it is good or not.
I didn't choose John Parris is because it takes too long and heard that the quality is not as goog as before. Above all, cues are not made by himself, but Mike Wooldridge stated that all custom made cues are made by him. |

I've recieved email from Mike Wooldridge and said he will send the cue today, and I should recieve it by tomorrow. Oh, i'm very nervious! |

Hi Hawk, I'm from Nottingham in England (UK) but not Scotland.
Anyway, I have recieved the cue from Mike Wooldridge, it looks perfect (feel good, straight grains, very evenly spread out and made to my exact specifications). I haven't try it out yet, but I wish I could today and let you guys know how is it. |
