我朋友有支 1/2 的Hunt & o'byren cue(白牌紅字)，個joint口同 3/4個短joint款完全不同(係長joint口的)，請問有冇人知道 o'byren是否有出過1/2的cue呢？煩請各位賜教賜教！

請問你見嗰支1/2的o'byren是白牌紅字嗎？
我怕支cue是假貨，如果支cue是真貨，我可能會買。

咁呢層我就唔清楚啦...因為支cue可能太耐歷史...加上cue主又唔係咁錫佢, 所以我淨係見到白牌, 見唔到紅字~~ Sorry 呀~~ |

Hi Fat , The infomation which u`ve said about the center joint ( 1/2 ) Hunt & O`Byrne cue seems to be real as i`ve afew of these cues from this brand . The reason why it`s white badge red letters is because it`s machine made . |

真正hunt & o'byrne (唔知你有無串錯字, 如果支Cue真係寫住Hunt & O'Byren, 我諗有問題吧)的頂級Cue(Hand & Custom Made for Professional) 是用一塊透明膠片蓋著一個圓形的凹位, 內裡是白底(正式係奶白色)黑字的寫著Hunt & O'Byrne London, 這款Cue無論就算只是淨Ebony Butt無花巧野, Cue身的Ash Wood一定係經過長時間風乾的老木, 如果係1/2 joint 位, 一定係用一種有一支長不繡鋼針在前的針Joint, 因為這種針Joint據當年廠方講可以加強1/2 Cue的Power, 與one piece cue分別不太, 如果唔係針Joint但又係透明牌, 假的機會很大. 第二級的訂做Hand Made Cue係白色圓形膠片黑色字, Ash Wood同樣係老木但未必經過長時間風乾, 但正常情況下都應該會有好表現, 再次一級是大量生產的綠色膠牌, 如果買這一級不如買John Parris表現通常好得多, 因為現在d人將綠牌Hunt的二手價錢定得太高, 唔值. 至於白底紅字屬機製Cue, 通常Cue身的Ash Wood都較差.
有機會我帶一支透明牌針Joint的1/2 Hunt & O'Byrne到聚會俾大家試試. |

我淨係識Hunt & O'Byrne既分別咋, 依家d Will Hunt點分我就真係唔識, 好似係頂級Custom Made先採用顏色牌, 是嗎?

...請問支 1/2 針joint的o'byrne cue(機製)，現在市值多少呢？朋友話支cue當年在英國買的時候襄，在機緣巧合的情況下俾peter edon試過話不俗的。我聽到都覺得好'近'呀！ |

The price for these type of machine made cue around 1987 cost between £150 - £180 stg . These cue can still be bought in UK if u know the rite ppl . The retail price nowaday in UK for Hunt & O`Byrne cues are almost the same as 15 - 20 yrs ago if not alittle bit more . |

多謝各位仁兄仁姊和Hawk的寶貴意見，知道了這些資料後及cue的大概價錢後，我大概不會買朋友支 1/2 O'byrne了因為它的二手價約為$3000，覺得唔值，經濟低迷，還是放棄罷了。
香港買Cue 何解咁貴，究竟$3000以下買唔買到支較好質量的英國CUE呢？
..........有點無奈，大家有啲咩提意呀？ |

Hello Fat , From what u`ve said about not being able to buy UK cues under $3000hkd may be true if u are looking for a good brand but have u ever thought of buying a good quality cue without the brand ? I know a friend of my which sell cues without a brand name on it and the price is under $1800hks . These cues which i`m talking about are very very high standard for this type of money . If anyone are interested ...... maybe i could help !! |
