Hi, I am from the uk too and i have bought all my cues form the uk.
If you dont want to spend too much on a snooker cue. you can go to some departent stores, like john lewis, or debenhams, and you can get some cues for resonable price. Normally range from 15 to 30 pounds, some come with cases too.
Otherwise, you can go search for some more proper cues. From my experience, i dont prefer powerglide, as they are still at a lower quality range. However, you can search for riley's, cue craft, or B.C.E.
More advance, you can choose, peradon (which i am using at the moment), finally, the ultimate brand is John parris, which i think is the favourite for myself, but the cheapest john parris cue will cost you around 220 to 240 pounds.
Nevertheless, which brand, how much, what style are all not the most important criteria, yet you feel to the cue should be the issue you should consider, you know and could feel the one that suits you as soon as you pick it up. Thats how i choose my cue. |
