My highest was 50, half centry,haha...
Break building is exciting and nervous too...I founf it hard to open the pack (reds), I have tried to use more spin, but the white always stuck in the pack. How can the professional players create that much spin, and break the pack so beautifully? |

Hi, Daniel. Take it easy man. Of course, their skill is much better than ours. But at the same time, the table cloth they used was quite difference from ours. May be you can make a similiar stroke on their table. |

我係95年打過45度, 係英國, 之後因為打得少, 成績一落千丈.
當時, 打到45度嘅時候, 白波對住少斜位spot 點藍波, 心諗呢個easy shot 今次重唔過50, 點知個藍波jaw 咀唔入, 激死人.
我覺得要成功突破自己嘅 highest break 有好多因數, 張枱嘅快慢呀, 條咕彈唔彈呀, 袋咕順唔順呀, 袋口闊窄呀...等等客觀條件.
而主觀條件, 最重要嘅就係自己嘅心理質數. 每次起break嘅時候, 當越來越趨接近自己嘅 highest break 心理壓力會越來越大, 心跳加速, 手心出汗, 手震, 最後又突破唔倒.
我諗, 如果能夠心無雜念, 已經有一半機會成功!
不過係香港唔知點解好難做到心無雜念.
但係, 近呢兩個月join咗你地之後, 同d唔同嘅對手打多咗, 發覺d功力好似有復甦嘅跡像---雖然都突破唔倒30度.
希望唔係幻覺啦!:-)

Sidney, no, I rejected the operation cuz I think I'm recovering, but i need to see the doctor again two weeks later, thanks for you care. My highest break today was 22. |

you are wrong!!! i can tell you that there are so many player better then me in australia and they still can not win any open tournament here, do you believe that???
so i'm only play once a week now and make a few breaks over 60,
it doesn't mean much to me. b'cuz those breaks only show what you just did, it doesn't mean you will do it again.
have you ever met a pro. before??? if you do oneday, you will know what i am talking about.
by the way, can i ask your name and where you from???

I played a guy who used to be a professional player. I guess he's like around 40 and can still play really really good snooker. He owns a pool house where I always go and play there,that's why I have a chance to play him.
why I would say you are probably a pro player
cos ,i think, if you score 60+ points in average which is very close to the winning line, you should have the ability to beat everyone, at least most of them, in Australia.

OIC,i believe your friend was a very good palyer when he was young.
well, when i was living in melboune back a few years ago, i was often practice with Quinten Hann, Neil Robertson and Robby Foldvari, they were often knock-in around ten centuries a day, and that kind of standard only get them a opportunity to play in UK, but it does not mean they'll make there. and i only can do half of what they can do, so for me pro. are beyond reach but i'm still love and enjoy the game.
oneday if we have chance to meet back in HK, i'll show you the different between top pro. and amateur. |
