經過多天的努力爭妍鬥勝，香港代表葉蘊妍(阿Faye)從小組賽至今，保持十場全勝姿態，昂然進入決賽，將與同樣十場全勝比利時選手 Wendy Jans 會師於決賽，爭奪06年世界桌球錦標賽女子冠軍！

Unofrutnatley, Faye lost in final 0-5 to Wendy Jans.
By the way, her performance is proof that she could in the leading position of ladies' world snooker standard.

我想問下呢個係咪全球性既比賽黎架??
因為我想講阿faye係幾勁...但都冇理由拎到世界第二架....所以先咁問....冇咩特別意思架....如有得罪請見諒!

Yau1201,this is one of the biggest snooker event in the world(for lady).But some(might be most) of the top lady players have already switch to play pool(mainly 9 ball) in the united states,like kelly fisher,because just more tournaments to play and more money to make!!!But anyway,it is still a big achievement for Faye,and the experience in Holland 2 years ago should really help her.

【明報專訊】本港女子桌球手葉蘊妍於中東國家約旦(網站 - 圖片)首都安曼(網站 - 圖片)舉行的世界桌球錦標賽獲得亞軍。她在小組以首名出線後連挫兩對手，惜在決賽不敵比利時球手屈居亞軍。賽後她表示在準備不足下作賽，輸廣 告
得心服口服。另一港將馮國威則在男子組得到8強成績。

這已是葉蘊妍第2次參加該項賽事，上次假荷蘭(網站 - 圖片)舉行的錦標賽她無緣出線。今屆葉蘊妍在小組出線後連勝兩位對手打入決賽，最後她在9局5勝的決賽以局數0：5大比數見負比利時球手珍絲，但Faye（葉蘊妍洋名）表示已對自己的成績感到滿意，並大方認為對手實至名歸：「其實我的實力與決賽對手的確有一段距離，加上在個多月前才在香港公開賽獲取代表資格，在準備不算充足下已是落力赴戰，我輸得心服口服。我希望回港後可以放多點時間加強訓練。」葉蘊研在過去兩屆香港女子公開賽分別得1冠1亞。

「Cue后」葉蘊妍編寫本港桌球壇歷史！儘管在約旦舉行的世界桌球錦標賽，在決賽以○比五不敵超晒班的比利時選手，但勇奪亞軍依然是港隊歷來最佳成績。賽後葉蘊妍立即致電回港向親友報喜，她受訪時坦言當初只以躋身八強為目標，「超額完成」凱旋而歸分外興奮。
