O'Sullivan won't be raising his glass to Williams
Ronnie O'Sullivan has vowed never to make peace with world champion Mark Williams. The Londoner, who lost his world number one ranking to the Welshman, added further fuel to the feud which stemmed originally from comments he made in his autobiography. "I don't want to make up with him and I don't want to say anything to him," said O'Sullivan. "Chances are he'd probably walk straight past me. "We don't talk and we probably never will talk - and that's fine with me. "Too much has happened and I'm not prepared to sort it out." The duo were lined up for a grudge match in the Crucible semi-finals but O'Sullivan never made it after his shock first-round defeat by Marco Fu. But despite his latest outburst, O'Sullivan is determined to let his snooker do the talking from now on. "When we play each other, we'll just play each other, but that's it," the "Essex Exocet" said. "Anyone who wins the world title deserves anyone to come up to them and shake their hand because it's a tough thing to do, but obviously I'm not about to do that. "Fair play to him, from a sporting point of view he deserved to win it because he handled the pressure better than anybody else. "As people we don't get on, but as a snooker player I have big respect for him because he's a quality player. O'Sullivan claimed in his autobiography that he knew of no-one in the game who liked the Williams. To which the Welshman responded: "If you are stupid, you say stupid things."
