Alex : Do u know which snooker club are those female players from as i would like to compete with them and see what are the standard in H.K. for female players .
Dickson : I know it might be odd for a female player to join dotcom but i`ve just heard about this site recently at the Chinese Scottish Open snooker tournament in Stirling ( Scotland ) . The former champion from N.Ireland told us about this site .
Handy : Out of all the group 1 players in Dotcom the highest break in any tournament so far is only 71 . Forgive me for saying this but i think i`m can beat most of them . I`m not here to make enemy or to put them down but a 71 break out of all those matches just isn`t a good enough standard althought everybody from Dotcom is kind of after a true friendships or exchange info about snooker . Nevertheless i still hope that by next month i could join you`s guy .

可能我地呢度以開心桌球為主喇~~我地既會員都希望係比賽裡面有好既表現,奈何我地都唔係全職既球手,要番工,要休息,要顧家等等,練習既時間唔多,一個星期最多可能只可打二至三晚桌球,大部份會員都以桌球網聚會及聯賽來作一個找志同道合,結交朋友,減壓及考驗自己球技的一個聚腳點.其實我都好想日日去練,不過時間,地點,金錢都有限制囉(香港打波真係好貴) ^.^
我地好歡迎你參加我地既聚會架~~~我地d 會員都好熱情架,大家對桌球都有非一般既熱誠,由朝打到晚都得架,某d人梗加鐘意俾人打爆tim,哈哈哈.

首先歡迎CURRY小姐加入論壇，更希望你能早日到香港在我們一班桌球熱愛者面前露一手。
無錯，最高比賽度數得71度無疑係比英國大部份業餘球手少得可憐，但要知道在香港打桌球同在英國係兩回事。
(1)在英國大部份家長都唔會反對子女打桌球，因合A師傅在13歲時收到一張小型球檯作聖誕禮物，而奧蘇利雲可以在10歲時打過百，但在香港若年紀輕輕入波樓會被視為大逆不道，在此風氣下大部份香港桌球愛好者都比英國的較遲起步。 要知道桌球手的黃金時間只得十多二十年，遲起步絕對係一個問題。
(2)在snooker.com打波的會員大部份都只係在工餘時間到波樓玩波，我唔知道英國平均每星期要工作幾多小時，但在一個步伐頗快的商業社會裏，真的有許多香港人被工作壓得透不過氣，還哪裡有時間進行操練呢？ 我相信你師傅絕對有同你講操練的重要性！
(3)還有一個很現實的問題，錢！ 香港地方少，寸金尺土，所以波鐘貴，令很多有意思接觸桌球的朋友望而卻步。 香港政府亦無大力推廣這項活動，令我輩中人仍然屬於『一小拙』，可悲！ |

Well...it is true. I can only spare a few hours per week to play snooker.

Hi Curry,
I am a snooker.com member in Australia, I don't have a world professional snooker champion as a coach but i do play snooker for few years, my highest break was 135 total clearance and in last couple of months i made 5 centuries.This might not be good enough to play with the professionals but i hope that my standard would be good enought to have a friendly match with you someday in the future. Back in the old day I remember I was always practice with Quintan Hann, Steve Misfud(IBSF World Snooker Champion 2002), Robby Foldvari(World Billiards Champion) and also pleasure to had a match with David Gray back in 97'. Any chance please keep me in post when u will be back to HK so i can arrange to meet u there, hope this old blokes won't disappoint u, not challenging but just would like to have a friendly game with world professional snooker champion Steven Hendry's Student it would be my great pleasure. Nice to meet u.

B.Hall : What u`ve said have awaken me as i did not know the true meaning of this Dotcom until i`ve read about what u`ve said . I would like to apologize for what i`ve said recently .
Felicia : It`s my pleasure having this chance of talking to u and i`ll be more than glad to have afew frames of snooker with u too .
Dickson : Myself and all of my friends from Scotland have heard about this Dotcom from Hawk few months ago in our scottish tournament . In October there will be another chinese tournament in Manchester and i`m sure more & more ppl in U.K. will be joining this Dotcom .
Handy : I`ll be in H.K. on the 28th of this month , Let`s hope i could join you`s guy and have some fun . |

MT : The Scottish Open is a chinese tournament which is held in Scotland at the Spenser snooker club . It`s a chinese tournament run by the local chinese community . On April this yr it was the 3rd yr running and Hawk was the winner for last yr & this yr . My teacher Stephen Hendry & Marco Fu also practice in this club all the times . Alot of ppl said it`s the best snooker club in U.K. because of so many pro`s & the standard of the tables & cloths are so high . Everything in this club are tournament equipments . |

以前既Spencer Club只得一張檯係用比賽絨及燈, 每朝早11:00am就會留俾Hendry練波, 當年佢16歲(85? 86年?).....
估唔到依家成個Club都用比賽設施..... |
