請問大家知唔知道除了 pccw 可以用電話線(原本的插座)上寬頻外, 可有其他公司可以用電話線(原本的插座)上寬頻呢? 因為小弟不想從外拉線入房. 謝謝.

唔使用其他公司... 而家有一d adapter 係插電制既...插左果舊野就可以多一個電話頭而又唔使拉線啦~~ |

先多謝咁多位的意見先~
因為我屋企門口無孔再拉線, 要拉的話要鑽孔. 好麻煩! 而且要拉到入我間房的話, 要再鑽多個孔. 咁重麻煩.
因為 pccw contract完啦, 想轉第二間.
kars: 因為wireless貴咯 ^^
brainpoon & danny: tks~ 好似唔駛1000, 好似2舊幾. 但問題我唔係要多個電話插座.
小北北: 和記真係搞野, 話不用拉線, 但師父到了又話要拉線. 真係玩野!
我想問有冇咩寬頻公司可以用回 pccw 的電話插座而提供寬頻服務o既呢? |

因為你就算轉第二間..佢都係租 pccw 既線...
仲無咁穩定...因為佢走番 server 再分d line 出黎... |

1) PCCW still using 4 cores telephone wire. Some companies now use 8 cores wire. Therefor, PCCW wire does not fit for those companies' borad band, except installing a new wire directly.
2) Do you have Cable TV ? I think their board band can be supplied through the cable TV wire. If this is your option, please verify with Cable TV. However, I have heard that their board band is not that stable.
3) I don't ahve a solution for you, but I have following experience with HGC and PCCW to share :
Some years ago, I moved to my previous apartment which originally using PCCW, but then I chose HGC. The installation from HGC had to install their wire from the telephone switch box room on that floor to the apartment. There is a telephone cable / wire pipe outside the door which goes into the main telephone socket of the sitting room. This pipe cannot be seen as it was put behind the wall and I believe it was put in there when the building was built. And I had this installation successfully done.
Recently I moved to another apartment which is located 20 meters away, the same estate, the same site but only one block next to it. Before I moved in, I informed HGC about my moving, they sent a technician down to check and then replied me it should be ok. After I moved in, the HGC technician came again for installation. And this time they found out that, this telephone cable pipe was fully blocked, they could not put in their cable and also unable to remove the PCCW cable. I ended up to use the PCCW again.
Some months before I moved, I signed a new contract with HGC for one year (for a discounted monthly charge), though I still paid by monthly but I was obligated to pay for 12 months in case I terminated this contract before it was due. However, with my particular case, HGC waived all charge for terminating the contract earlier.

Well, I don't exactly meant that. HGC was fair in my particular case. In general, I don't really know.
I am using PCCW now, it's services is also very good.

Have you thought about So-Net ? A friend of mine he used to use PCCW and later on switched to So-Net for the lower cost reason. I did not ask whether he had this installation problem, but I remember that he said the So-Net actually leasing the PCCW line to provide internet services. Worth to give call to find out. |

我原本都係用so-net，但大約一年前已經賣斷俾PCCW，所有客戶自動過底，而家我個Plan係3M-$148HK！
