香港中文大醫學院研究治療肥胖症的方法，
利用內視鏡將一個可以注入鹽水的矽膠水球放入胃部，
以減少胃的容量。

接受這種減肥方法試驗的48人中，大部分感到滿意，
6個月後平均減去一成半體重，平均腰圍亦縮減近13厘米。

中大醫學院表示，這種治療方法的優點，
是可以於門診和不需麻醉的情況下進行，
甚少出現併發症，一些嘔吐和噁心的徵狀，療程亦很短暫。
不過，這種方法不適合胃部或消化腸道有問題的人士。

我有朋友睇過減肥醫生,
佢話食左藥後, 覺得飽,
但係成日都好累, 反應慢慢左,
