Hello, I am not sure if this question has been asked before. Is it true that cue legth should approach shoulders level from floor? Do you feel cue length can actually affects your cue actions at all? I know cue length is typicall 58 inches. I am trying to get a custom cue but I am indecisive about cue length. Can anyone provide some suggestions, thanks in advance.

Well I believe there is no real difinition. I am 178cm and I am using a 147cm cue. What you can do is to try some cues out and see which length you feel the most comfortable with. On average, most cues are about 145 -147 cm, which are pretty standard. Just curious, where are you going to order the cue from? |

It depends how tall you are, how u stand, how you balance your body, how long your arm is, how long is your bridge away from the cue ball, and how far from the end of the cue do you hold and how much you twist your body, how much you lift your shoulders, and there could be many more factors that I've left out, best way is get a broomstick and play some shots and see what's comfortable, and try to work out from there how long a cue you need... |
