Hello! i have a file which is 741mb in size, i want to transfer it into a CD-R. i have a CD-R which has a 800mb capacity, however the computer is not percieving i have a 800mb cd-r, instead of a 700mb one, so i cannot successfully burn the file into a disk now. can anyone help? thank you very much.

It depends on which CD Burning software you are using. Let say with Nero-Burning, it do have a option named "Over Burning" and you can find it in "File" > "Perferences" > "Expert Features". Also if you do have DVD burner, you may enable also the "DVD overburning" option.

Adrain, 燒碟軟件應該可以 "Over Burning" 的。
不過你要 check check 個 Writer 的 Firmware 是否最新，用的軟件是否最 Update. 因為舊 version 的 Firmware 係認唔到的 800 MB 的 size。
