各位networking高手，

我朋友公司有一個network，共8部client電腦，一個printserver，一個server。全部落地線。

adsl 寬頻經modem經一個pccw提供o既router，駁落一個8-port hub。一直冇事，因為有幾部機係冇人用o既。

最近d唔用o既機要駁埋入個network度，個hub唔夠用，所以買左個24port switch。裝果個人唔知點解，做左以下setting就走左：

- printserver 同 server 直駁入switch
- router照舊駁入hub
- 另外7部client駁入hub
- 一部client直駁入router
- 再有一條線由個hub駁入個switch

咁樣部部機都上到網，又上到server。

我而家想唔要個hub。理論上全部插晒落個switch就應該ok？ 但係又唔得。

我試過淨係插個router同一部client落個switch度，都係上唔到網。有乜解究？router至switch條線，直出又用過，crossover又用過，都係一樣。

請大家幫幫忙...

史兄:

呢個有可能係你個Switch o既問題...
一隻新o既switch 正常無改任何setting 係可以當Hub 用...
But 如果之前隻Switch 比人改過個config..
例如..間左"V-lan",甘就可能有問題架喇..

你先試試用是旦一部client PC同隻Router 一齊吉落隻switch度...
之後再用部Client PC ping 下隻Router..睇下ping 唔ping 到..
如果ping 唔到...九成間左"V-lan"

多謝你回答。

我曾經試過只插一部client同埋一個router，係ping唔到o既。

我自己對networking知道o既只係皮毛。隻switch係level one o既，冇任何jumper/按鈕可以郁，manual上亦冇話可以點樣用browser入去config。點樣可以set到呢？

牌子叫做Level 1。應該係以下型號：

如果你個Switch 肯定係FSW-2420TX 的話..
甘你係要用consol cable 黎config o既..
你睇下隻Switch 後面有無一個吉Consol 線o既"隆"!!

=.=""但係你識唔識用Consol 黎config 隻Switch 架?
