Does anyone know how to type chinese in yahoo messenger and yahoo mail?
I am using window 98, and have installed the multilanguage support and the chinese IME (input method editor )
But still I have trouble sending/receiving chinese email with yahoo mail. The words sometimes show up as garbage, and sometimes I get illegal operation when trying to send..
With yahoo messenger, reading chinese is ok but sending does not work at all (always show up as garbage).
Anyone has any idea?

i also using yahoo messenger and yahoo email,
i just use 倉頡 速成 to type chinese, other can see (but only can show Big 5 words). Both chinese WIN 98 and ENG WIN XP can.
when read email, if can't see chinese, click view->encoding
select chinese traditional, not ok then try chinese simplified, last try Unicode, normally can see it.
That's my experience, hope it can give you some ideas.
