2004-05年度世界職業桌球賽首項賽事，格蘭披治賽決賽週於10月2日經已開咧。

R.O'Sullivan, J.Wattana, Marco....均輕鬆晉級第二圈。
S.Hendry, J.White.....亦以5-4 險勝對手晉級。
Jin Long(金龍)以3-5 不敵老將 T.Drago.
比較令人意外係 M.Williams 首仗即遇滑鐵盧，以2-5 敗於 M.Judge 棒下。

今次賽事轉用新設計球檯，幾靚仔o架！

JOHN Higgins mage a magnificent 147 break against Ricky Walden at the totesport Grand Prix tonight (Monday) - but that didn't prevent the world No 5 from slipping to a shock 5-3 defeat.

兩老對戰，S.Davis 以 5-1 勝 T.Drago 率先打入16 強，勁！
不過下仗未許樂觀，因為對手會係P.Hunter 或 A.Carter.

N.Robertson 及 J.Perry 亦殺入16 強，並於下仗對賽。

Marco 又輸1-5 玩完，真係過唔到大勇o既M.Judge.
J.Perry 贏5-3之後都話︰羅拔臣好味！入到八強將會對M.Judge.
I.McCulloch 5-4 險勝 S.Hendry 晉身八強。(又一巨星下馬)
S.Maguire 5-1 大勝 N.Bond 入八強就係對 I.McCulloch 喇！

决賽最後一席位由 R.O'Sullivan vs P.Hunter，
一開始奥蘇利雲帶離局數3：1，接着享特追到3：2，
奥蘇利雲輕取80度造成4：2，再而各取一局，最後奥蘇利雲
以一cue107度結束賽事，以6：3昂然進入决賽。

GP-final今晚由大熱門.O'Sullivan vs 大冷門I.McCulloch

I.McCulloch 未算大冷門，佢上季尾Embassy世界賽都係八強份子。
今次賽事仲連續擊敗J.White 同 S.Hendry, 發揮得唔錯喎！冠軍賠率7/1。
相對o黎講，佢四強個對手M.Judge 如果入決賽就真係冷喇！冠軍賠率16/1。
