Hey, Okay you might try these : 1. you can place you cue one the table and use any kind the bridge that you feel confortable but you got to make sure the cue is kindda tight make sue don't leave too much room for the cue move up and down. 2. This is easy .. after you set up the bridge and the stand just shoot the ball as normal (REMEMBER !! you have to follow though and have your cue holding hand finish on your chest)
Addition note.. 1. you might slightly elevate the cue (Not to much other you will lose the accuracy) 2. hold the cue little bit more up front.
3.This is the most important one.. KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE OBJECT BALL and trust your stroke..
Let me explain why this work.. First of all, a tight bridge is necessary for any shoots.. Also as we have to understand that if we have a normal good finish of a stroke 1. our body our head stay still. 2. The cue holding hand should be finish on our chest, as we know if the butt of the cue on our chest then the other side of the cue tip is travelind down. Which helps us to make solid contact of the tip and the cue ball.. 3. Many times when people miss cue on the edge of the table is because they are scare, not trust their storke .they baby the ball I mean they didn't finish the stroke so the tip of the cue went over the top of the cue ball and didn't make a solid contact. For us to over come this problem we have to fix the problem in our head.. Just foucs on the object ball... do the normal finish..
This is the way I use to pratice drill. set up all the balls on the railand make them all to the side poket. Try to use different speed.kepp doing that until you know you will not miss cue then set it up to the long rail and use only poket speed to roll the balls in to the coner poket..
