hello, just want to ask approx how much is it for a Master custom made cue (same as the PB1 but heavier, 20.5oz). And how is the quality of their custom made cue?

Hi guys, My friend had a good long chat with mastercue, Ukrit last month. And then cleared a few things up, and discussed some very good stuff.

This cue was on Ebay with a more than dubious, and ever changing sales patter. As Ukrit actually knows the dealer who is selling these cues he didnt want to be undiplomatic, but did state that the selling wasn't telling anywhere near the truth in an effort to make a few quid
These cues were indeed a limited run that were made about 4 months ago, and carry the "Special" badge used for such runs. The shafts used on them came from the usual Mastercue stock. The dealer claimed that he had actually sourced his own shaft wood that had been air dried, and actually sent it to Thailand to have the cue made. This is untrue, and Ukrit has no record of this and has never recieved wood from anyone else that his bulk supplier.
The dealer also tried to state that the price of this cue was £400+..The maximum price for this cue would have been around the £170 mark as it was not custom made and doesn't contain the most expensive exotic woods.
It was also claimed that the cue was made to the exact spec of Ronnies cue,..this is a lie that is very transparent to anyone that has even a medium degree of cue knowledge. The cue was eventually sold for £255 without any extensions which is very inflated when you think that my friend of the Tulip Mastercue with extensions and delivery was £186 direct from Thailand.
